The Hot Kum Rally was a road race and social event. Racers began at George’s Buffet at 8:10pm. They raced to the Kum and Go at 25 W. Burlington Street, where the racers entered, purchased anything, collected a receipt, and raced to the next checkpoint. They entered the second Kum and Go, at 323 E. Burlington Street, purchased anything, collected a receipt, and raced to the finish line, back at George’s Buffet. An award ceremony and post-race celebration was held
Prizes were awarded to the first to finish, the racer with the lowest combined amount spent, the racer with the highest combined amount spent, and the racer with the least amount of time between purchases.
